 Ive been practicing my form alot these past couple of weeks. The weight feels fine, im just not getting the technique yet. Im using to much muscle instead of the suit. Its going to start connecting soon, and when it does its gonna fly!

Light Bench Aug 23rd

 Got the work in, tricep kills when I bench expecially raw! Ive come to turms that the pain is here, I just got to try to push threw it.

 Got my suit + briefs fixed up to fit me better, hips are very tight but all in all equipement has never felt better. Weight is feeling really good on my back, I thought it was going to crush me, but it was ok.

Heavy Bench Aug 19th

  Worked up to 6 plates! Thought it would crush me but it was fine. Kinda messed with my head a bit, but now I know I can handle that weight for the next time. Good group tonight, alot of heavy lifting. Very fun night.

 Tricep hurting alot, backed off today but still got the work in. Bench is feeling really good, just have to concentrate on my tricep when signals to stop...

 Weight felt heavy, my briefs and suit were sent out to get bigger cuz they were to tight. Did the whole workout raw, first time in awhile that I did that. Legs were killing, but good work and focused alot on grip.

 Weight felt awsome, wasn't a big group but the people that were there were creating a good vibe and lifting heavy. All in all, it was good work.

 What a night, great vibes and hardcore lifting. I managed to get 2 PR's that night! Im gunning for a 600lbs bench. Im going to follow the metal militia chart and do some tripples this friday. I really want to find my line and heal positioning. My body is keeping up with the beatings but I think I might tone it down a bit, will see. All in all, very happy.

FACT- Well I drink a ton of water a day (4-5 liters), and I came across this article and it has helped me out so maybe it will help others..

If you drink water from a glass or a bottle, you consume mostly air and feel bloated from all the air in your stomach. When you drink through a straw, you consume 95 percent water. You can drink four times as much before you feel full.

 Suit was really tight, expecially around my thighs. Gonna get Ghislian to make one for me just for deadlifting. Weight felt fine, just really focusing on the technique, my body is still beat up from the meet on saturday. Its all good, gonna bench heavy tomorrow so carb up has started this morning. Ross took measurements of my thighs yesterday. 29 inches!  Thats boss-

  Weight felt light, really kicking my heals and its showing a major impact in my bench. Hurt my eye monday at work, gonna be off all week to let it heal right.

 

CPA Push/Pull Aug 6th

 

  The week leading up to the meet I ate and slept ALOT! I was maxed out lol. Friday night I pounded the usual sushi. Went to bed like boss. Got to Magog around 8ish, met up with the boys- Joanick, Alex and Simon. I weighed in at 251.4, the heaviest I have ever been. The meet turned out very well for me and my team. Simon got some huge lifts in, Alex was there for all of us helping out ALOT!, Joanick and I were helping out each just like we would at the gym.

It was crazy hot+humid outside but we all soldiered up and did the job. I was taking down almost a liter of vitamin water an hour, and some regular water also. I went there in my head to get 550 bench+ 500 deadlift, I got it and im very happy. Joanick got best lifter, good job Jo! Big Leo also got best lifter, he was beast. So while we had our battle in Magog, Ross and Shawna had there's in New York. Ross did good with a 500 bench that flew, and a 525 that just missed.. Shawna got her all-time, Awsome job! Can't wait to start trainning again, Ive been learning so much about all the lifts that the progress just keeps going up. Ive said it before and ill say it again. Im very lucky to have Montreal Barbell trainning me, great coaching and good teamates. So on to the next..
