June 14th Light Bench

 

Got  some good work in tonight, feeling  strong.

15x 2 plates

10x 2plates

Stretch, weights  felt good and i have a huge goal for the bench wars will just see were ill be closer to the meet. My new diet is on this week, i really like it and think it’s going to do wonders.

Non Training Day.

1-      3 scoops Muscle Juice  500ml skim milk + 1 scoop Myofusion +  stack of vitamins

2-      * egg whites + 3 whole eggs + banana

3-      2 cups brown rice + 16oz of either  bison,horse,veal,turkey + Vitamin Water + stack of vitamins

4-      300g Greek Yogurt + 1 scoop Myofusion +  banana

5-      3 scoops Muscle Juice with 500ml skim milk + 1 scoop Myofusion

6-      2 scoops Celltech Hardcore + 1 scoop Beta-Alanine

7-      Bowl of whole wheat pasta + 16oz extra lean ground beef

** Snacks are nuts + fruit ** -- Also down 3-4 liters of water daily--

Training Day.

 Saturday...

 

I was nervous all week to make weight. Staurday 9 sharp i was 233lbs! I lost 10lbs in a week. I lost it, I drank and I ate alot. At the end of the day I was 245lbs, back on track. All day the energy was crazy, the mofos with joel and his brother were great and real strong. Fun to watch, Al Mehan was awsome as usual, bill crawford was there lending a hand to the lifters, I was helping spotting and loading. Was pretty fried by the end of the day, but im glad I stayed cause there was alot of great lifters. Shany did amazing, also shawna. Those girls a strong. Got home and carbed up hard.

 

Sunday...

 

I woke up and a was burnt, started to stress out a bit but soldiered up and stuck to the game plan. I wanted my canandian records wether I was sick, or in pain! Got to the gym, vibe was not like saturday but in my head i was good to go. Joefrrey helped me alot that day, so did big leo, carmin and joanick. Great team! Squat went really well, got my opener 550lbs and then my record 628lbs, my 645lbs felt great but i was missing an inch... Joefrey sprayed this adhesive stuff all over my legs and wrapped my legs with his famous X style.It worked great but after my third attempt when we removed my wraps from my knees my skin came with it, dam that hurt. Bench was wierd, I missed my opener 450lbs, very strange, got it on my second attempt, also it was canadian record, i tried 556lbs, i handled it fine just missed the lock out. Was pretty happy, Deadlift got my opener 450lbs, my second 525lbs got stuck at my upper thighs, forgot to water them.. My third was balls out 586lbs, lifted it just above my knees then dropped it, i was done no more gas in the tank. All in all, I got my 3 records, squat, bench, and the overall. Very happy, i guess hard work does pay off. I just wan to say thx to metal militia montreal for all the halp and support, really awsome. Ross and shawna really know how to throw an amazing meet. Very lucky to be apart of this familly.  Next mission BENCH WARS!!! its gonna get cazy at montreal barbell on friday nights!!!!!!!!

Bench May 27th

 

 Worked up to my opener 475lbs, felt good. Did a bit of tricep and bicep work. Everythings good to go. Im doing my diet prep for the pro/am- 1 inch thick T-Bone steak+ 5 eggs + a couple of potatoes cut up and fried, im having 2 servings a day. Thats a statement!

Deadlift May 25th

 

 Pro/Am is creeping up, doing my openers this week and focusing on form and depths. Everything went well tonight, got my opener and it felt good 450lbs . I hope I get a good pull at the pro/am, will see.

Squat May 22nd

Got started, been taking NOS energy drink lately and has been doing wonders for me. warm up 1 plate, 2 plates, 3 plates, suited up, loose straps 4 plates, 475lbs, 550lbs opener went great, 625lbs missed depths by an inch, tried 685lbs, felt great knees came in at the bottom. All in all ill take my opener home today, vibe was great, im starting to get to know everybody on the team more and more now. Alot of good people at montreal barbell. Ill that I can say is that this is my sport and im here to stay!

Heavy Bench May 20th

 

 Got to the gym and did my usual warm up, 1 plate, 2 plate, 3 plate, shirt 425lbs, 455lbs, 500lbs, 525lbs, then ross and I talked and we both said 550lbs.. Holy sh..t it went up nice, 550lbs PR! Im real happy with that lift, it feels good when you work really hard and it pays off. Im feeling really good, body is feeling strong, my head is were its suppose to be, my conditioning and diet is on the ball, so I have no ecxuses why I shouldn't show up and do my work. Looking forward to squat tmr, its starting to get intense the closer the pro/am gets.

Bench / Squat / Deadlift May 13th, 22nd, 25trh

 

 Bench went well, Pr 535lbs, everything is feeling good. My back was fried from deadlifting, but all in all good night. My squat was alright, worked up to 650lbs, really focusing on my depth. Its comming. Tonight was deadlift, worked up to 525lbs, still hard to get down but im going to keep at it! The pro/am is around the corner and speaking to ross is helping me out alot. Hes my guide threw all this stuff, he really works with me and also the team. We are very lucky. Shawna is still injured, but she is strong so shell come back and squash it at the pro/am. My openers are 550lbs/455/455, and what i want to get to // 650lbs, 525lbs, 525lbs - 1675lbs overall is the goal. On a new stack, really working well.

Workout days - 1 scoop Myofusion + 1 scoop Gold Carbs morning, 1 scoop Beta-Alamine + 1 scoop Cell-tech Hardcore pre workout + post workout, 2 scoops Myofusion + 1 scoop Gold Carbs post workout

Non Workout days, 1 scoop Myofusion + 1 scoop Gold Carbs 2 times a day, 1 scoop Beta-Alanine + 2 scoops Celltech Hardcore once a day

Everyday - 6 pills of Fish Oil , 3 pills Glucosamine Sulfate , 1 pill of Multivatamine , 4 bannanas , 2L of water non workout days, 3L and a bit on workout days ,

** I quoted bench night "HOUSE OF MONSTERS", cause everybody that benches seems to bench over 500lbs in this gym! Its getting out of control in a good way!**

Deadlift May 11th

 

 Had a hard and long day at work, got home slept for 3 hours felt great when I woke up. Took some new creatine that my friend gave me to try, woke me up! Got to the gym, felt a great vibe. Did my usual - 1 plate, 2 plate, 3 plate, suited up for 4 plates, then 5 plates flew up for the first time, then 5plates and half flew , Ross looked at me and said 6 plates. I got to the bar, I lifted that bar up almost got it but missed the lock out. My deadlift trainning has been very hard for me, my team is very strong at this lift and ive been having alot of trouble with it. Today it finnally came together. I love having new goals, im very happy with tonight and can't wait to see what else is in store for me. On to the next...

Light Bench May 10th

 

 Light day, not heavy but got the work in. 4 sets 225lbs for reps, then 2 sets of 225lbs pauses. Did some stretching, glad to get the work in. Ive been trying to deal with the change in my lifting, before I met ross and the team I was bodybuilding. I was really intense when I would lift weights, but now im still intense but not as much. Sometimes it works for me, but other times meh.. I think I might start up again, but time and experience will see. This sport brings out something in people, one minute your talking all normal then you hear your name before you lift and this switch gets turned on and everything gets serious. Its amazing how people just engage the moment, its fun to watch and fun to experience.

 

Squat May 8th

 

 Huge group today, great vibes. My squat is really comming around, Im starting to love squatting. Almost got 660lbs, couple of weeks ago I got 720lbs. Maybe I was just burnt out, all in all im primed for the pro/am. Funny thing that ross called me sunday " the come back and get it man", I hate failling at my lifts, even if im burnt out. Ill 99% of time come back and get it... My conditioning is going good, gonna start my new stack of protein, carbs, etc... this friday. I dropped 12lbs so I can try and stay in the 242lbs class. I was 254lbs before and felt awsome. But wow I just kept eating and eating. Will see how things go
