UPA MEET write-up... i bomb on the squat!
Seriously, shawna describe very well what happen to me in her log. I don't feel like writting up what went wrong on my meet cause there more than one...first by being sick all week and a 5 pound lost. But let's just say that i learn a lot. I mean, powerlifting is a learning experience and you have to fail sometimes to understand what's wrong and then work on those weak point and get ready to the next battle. One of the things that i learn is that in meet, because of the crowd and excitement, i lose my focus... Need to work on feet position to feel more balance in the squat... need to work on throwing back the weight on the bench and not push straight up... and some adjustment on my deadlift gear to be able to lock-out the heavy weight. Ok, for someone who did'nt wanted to share my problem, i have tell a lot! ha ha. Just want to thank Ross and Shawna for all the support. Congrats Cheryl for such an inspiring performance and being supportive as well. Lifting in a meet as a team is the best experience you can have... I owe them a lot and i wish they will get ready for a meet in wich i will be able to give back! Was proud of being part of the metal militia family...lifter from all chapter felt like brother to me. There's some good training left before the battle of Montreal and i promise myself i will be ready for this one. No excuses, just results.
