 Great to be back again , injury is leaving fast and game time is back. Im going to go hard now, its go time!

INJURY

 

 Well ive been off since 2 fridays ago, my arm is still hurting but not as crazy. My left arm has some pretty intense tendenitis, so its been really buging me. Since im a diesel mechanic I use my hands everyday, they don't rest up... Been under alot of stress lately, Ive lost 8lbs-- 258 now 250! I know ill get the weight back but if my arm keeps hurting I might really have to back it off from lifting. That would suck. Going to try to train atleast my body to get a pump and keep the blood flowing, I feel like crap. Also noticed that when you lift HEAVY you get hungry alot, now I havn't lifted close to 2 weeks and im not eating or drinking well. I don't even remember the last time I took a shake. Hopefully it will all change and powerlifting comes back for me, there has to be a turning point soon or else "go heavy or go home"  will be  "just go home"!!

  Took some time off, well 3 days but for me thats alot. Started my new job this week, I have to wake up at 4:30am and im done at 4-5pm. 10 hour days, it is what is. Deadlift felt heavy, I went raw. At the end of the night I tried the Atlas Stone which was 250lbs. Lifted it off the floor and racked it, it was fun. On to bench friday, big Jo is coming from Sherbrook to squash a PR! Hell get it, or ill make him!!

 Squat was good, weight felt heavy. My cns is really down, going to take a couple of days off and get back into it.

 Got to the gym, it was a full house. Awsome vibe, I was pumped up cuz I missed 600lbs the last couple of fridays and tonight it was going up. Worked up to 550, first 600 went up but alot of fighting was needed for the lockout.. Ross said do it again but clean, got on the bench and it flew. Felt good, ive been fighting hard at the gym this year and im very happy to be apart of the 600lbs BENCH CLUB!!!

 Deadlift went well, raw went really well. My suit is just not working, were going to try a new one next week. 550lbs raw put my mindset in gear! Good to go. Crazy lifting startring tomorrow, its going to be BOSS!

 My CNS is still down from friday's bench, but I still managed to feel a heavier weight. It felt fine, I just have to learn how to put air in my stomach when the weights get heavy. Nathan came down from cornwall, he worked his way up in a suit for the firsttime, he nailled 585lbs like it was nothing. Hes going to be a huge squatter! Steve did reps with 585, going to go full gear next week. Hes going to put up some serious numbers. Ghislain got carzy depth with 755lbs, hes getting back in his groove. Big Mike came and did some deadlift, he blew away 675lbs, and almost got 765lbs! He doesn't realise it but hes up there with Hoff , AJ , etc.. Ross soldiered up to 585lbs, his squat is looking stronger and stronger. I feel a good vibe coming back to the gym, the energy is crazy and it makes everybody wanting more! Big week coming up, carb up time and alot of resting and icing.

 

 

 * Its Sept 11th, we should not forget what happened 10 years ago. Im going to pray for the people that lost there lives on 9/11, as should all of us*

  I carbed up hardcore this week, felt strong tonight. My wrist/forearm was acting up this week, thought I wouldn't be able to bench but soldiered up and pounded it out. 6 plates was a huge achievement, felt really good to get that. Next week, im going for 600, and im starting to get ready now for next friday! Just want to say thx to metal miltia and Quest for there help and support tonight. On to the next, Steve has been working with us now, getting his nervous system in tact. Very strong guy, he almost put up 500 on the bench tonight, he doesn't know how strong he is yet.  Very exciting. Big leo got 700, beast. Carmine almost got 585, hes not far away. Jamie and nathan had a great night, lifting very heavy. Those guys are going to squash some heavy weight soon. Big mike worked up to 8 plates, he did 3 reps with 500 raw. That guy is not human. Yassine is working his shirt, hes going to get it soon. Ross threw up 500, 540 went up but jammed half way up, hes strong and getting more mind set these days. Hes a perfect example of mental toughness-- When everything is going to sh@#t, he keeps focus, smiles, coaches us, inspires us, helps us achieve our goals even tho his is on pause, I owe alot of my PR to him, Thx coach! Squat sunday, good to go..

  Squat is getting better and better. Feel like my core is getting stronger, heavy weighst is being alot more controlled, and fear is out of the mind. When Nathan comes down with his guy's from Nova Scotia in a couple of weeks, im going to put 800lbs on the bar! Gametime.

 I was a bit off lifting on a saturday but it was good to go. The gym is going threw some transformations, but have to still keep the goals in mind! Doing a tripple with 525lbs was something that I thought I would not achieve for awhile.. Im going for 550 tripple this friday, if I get that then next friday I will try 600! Joanick, I want you there !!! Ross has been coaching me threw all my PR'S, its a great feeling. Go Heavy Or Go Home.
